Getting Started

Getting Started

Step one

  1. Navigate to the “Airport Groups” page”
  2. Search specific airport name or code
  3. Open your airport group page
  4. Click join group.
  5. Now introduce yourself and get involved!

Step Two

Add Airport Information

  1. Open your airport group
  2. Click “Information” tab
  3. Edit an existing document or create new document
  4. Add any information you think people want (Ex: Airport location, runway length, gas prices, airport history, etc.)
  • Anyone can view these documents and airport group members can edit them. This helps to keep up to date and reliable information.
  • Typically with more information comes more group interaction and members.
  • Specific & interesting information can bring new pilots to your airport!

It’s all about the community. Help others get involved. Here are a few ways to jumpstart your community:

  1. Introduce yourself to your airport group. It’s the best way to start a conversation.
  2. Offer to help others. Take someone for their first flight or offer to clean a plane.
  3. Share a picture or story.
  4. Organize a casual event. Invite people to your hangar for the evening.

Step Four
